Carry the Cause for CASA - Designer Purse Raffle (2nd Annual)

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting the mission and vision of the Fifth Circuit CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocates.

The Fifth Circuit CASA program launched in Brown County on November 4, 2024, with a mission to promote and protect the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in court proceedings through the advocacy of trained volunteers. We serve the entire Fifth Judicial Circuit, which includes the counties of Brown, Spink, Walworth, Roberts, Campbell, Faulk, McPherson, Edmunds, Day, and Marshall.

Since inception our program has trained and supported 20 total volunteers, served 43 children, and our volunteers have volunteered 447 hours and driven 5,841 miles to see children in foster care and attending court hearings. We have served in cases in 4 county courts but have had children placed all over the state and in three other states.
